Adham Shaikh is a Juno Award-nominated music producer, composer, sound designer, and DJ who brings his uniquely powerful global sounds to the world stage and screen, not to mention many a crowded dance floor.

The Boom Booms - The Boom Booms are a Vancouver based pop-rock group and have built a loyal all-ages following that crosses all generations.  Fresh from a successful tour of Brazil where they played sold-out shows in Rio de Janeiro and Manaus and most recently played to thousands at the Vancouver International Jazz Festival, The Boom Booms are coming to the Unity Music Festival!  ”…the music combines the raw emotional intensity of Ben Harper and the cultural diversity of Manu Chao, with a sound that harkens back to old time folk and soul”. – CBC

Kytami, a ‘violinistextremist’ was born in Vancouver and has been dubbed a ‘music revolutionary’ by Whats Up Magazine USA. Of Japanese, Filipino and English descent she started taking violin lessons at the age of three, and trained classically at the Vancouver Academy of Music.  She co-founded the global fusion sound storm group Delhi 2 Dublin and left in late 2010 to pursue her solo career. Her ‘violin thunder’ is an mix of classical and fiddle styles with the heavy bass elements of Dubstep and Hip Hop.  From Germany, to Hong Kong to Shambhala and now to Slocan Beach …. be prepared to experience Kytami do the impossible. http://www.kytami.ca

Erica Dee - Erica Dee is an artistic paradigm of our age.  The daughter of jazz musicians and born in the digital realm, she manages to combine old world Spirit with new world Soul, seamlessly mixing, singing, rapping and djing into a linear stream. An electro vaudevillian gypsy, she has captivated audiences from B.C. to Brazil and lives to travel, learn and share her many gifts with the world.

Erica DJed & performed alongside Chali 2na, Damien Marley & Quest Love during the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver BC at The First Nations Youth Conference. Later on in 2010 Erica joined rapper Pigeon John and DJ SHADOW for the nation wide Shadowsphere Tour.  Erica’s sonic adventurism knows no boundaries. From Hip Hop to House, Electro, Mash-Up, Top 40 Remixes, RnB or Dubstep, Miss Dee flexes her versatility in both style and skill effortlessly. Whether at a 15,000 capacity festival or an intimate Hollywood lounge, as a DJ, Singer or Rapper, Erica Dee entertains and connects with her audience in a cosmic exchange of Love energetics and Light.

Dark Fire Cloud – Born Thaddeus PreJean in Lafayette, Louisiana this conscious troubadour serves up Zydeco Reggae, Rhythm and Blues with a Gospel flavour. Coming here to Slocan straight from Louisiana, Dark Fire Cloud and his band of valley locals will bring with them their heavy hitting list of spiritually inspired original songs.  Bring it on!

Tofu Stravinsky - Smooth, crunchy, jazzy and hip, the dynamic vocals of Sarah Orton are supported by the Johnny Marr-like guitar stylings of Tyler Toews and Jon Perry’s cunning synth hooks.  The band is grounded by a dance-floor-filling rhythm section composed of Quillan Hanley on bass and Malik Mourak on drums. Tofu Stravinsky is quickly making a name for themselves amongst some of BC’s finest musicians.
